using a tablet v burning cds

Post by helterskelter »

Just bought a Samsung note as an alternative to having a laptop and it does what I need with one exception. I do miss saving my cds and burning compilations. Does anyone know if a tablet can connect to a burner, if I can save cds onto a memory card or the tablet or how I can do this. I was thinking of saving the music onto a external hard drive, connecting into the tablet etc. As you can see I am easily technicallyvchallenged.

Does the tablet have a USB port? I'm pretty sure you can buy external CD burners that conect via USB.

I am very pleased with my ipod for the majority of my musical needs, but do often miss the concise discipline of an 80 minute CD! I frequently make playlists that would fit onto a CD... as a big Al Green fan I don't mind putting all 13 hours on shuffle, but there's something clarifying about boiling it down to 76 minutes of pure genius.

Well, in principle you should be able to; the trick will be finding an android app that will allow you to use it...
