Decided to take a detour on my way home to Phoenix from the Rose Bowl yesterday with a stop at Pappy & Harriet's and then a drive thru Joshua Tree. Wow!
I highly recommend anyone who ever gets that opportunity take it. Spectacular. The most amazing vistas and giant rock formations. So many rock climbers too. Just an awe inspiring detour.
Oh yeah, the Rose Bowl was pretty special too. Being a Michigan State grad.

it is a magical place. i was lucky to get to attend spiritualized's show last april at pappy and harriet's. honestly, it's one of the most beautiful places i've ever been. it was my first time out in that part of california and i can't wait to go back. i've never seen so many stars in the sky before!
