Harold Ramis RIP

Post by spzretent »

It is one of those days that puts things in perspective. Harold Ramis left an indelible comedic mark for those of us on the 40-60+ range. Animal House, Stripes, Ghostbusters and more. Defining moments in the late 70's and early 80'si

+ Groundhog Day the greatest film ever!

Yea funny guy, contributed a lot of laughs & wasted a fair amount of time watching his films when I was growing up, or even when I wasn't growing up. Fun guy. R.i.p.

He was exceptionally good at being (and looking) "strange" and funny. It is always a loss to have such talent be gone from us; but at least he left SOME of what he had in film, and in other, more esoteric ways.

I LIKED Andy Kaufman! He was so VERY VERY GOOD at being essentially, PROFESSIONALLY "mentally ill", but still on the loose! There was a fellow who walked that thin line! He had so many people all worked up, or "all shook up", and it was en toto, an elaborately staged act!

Brilliant.
