Despite having the worst customer service ever (apart from the initial contact when you want to sign up with them) I've stayed with TalkTalk for a few years simply as their broadband speeds are shit hot and cheap.
Every 12 months my contract ends and I always manage to negotiate a deal.
I don't use a landline so this hacking thing doesn't really bother me - my personal information is held on so many different companies sites worldwide I long stopped worrying about that stuff.
