Paul Kantner RIP

Post by runcible »

The depressing start to 2016 continues with the sad news of the death of Jefferson Airplane's Paul Kantner from organ failure.

He played such an important part in the Haight Ashbury scene & American psychedelia and made a whole load of great music. Tragic news.

Just remember : The Jefferson Airplane loves you. RIP Paul.

Another great one lost. The sad inevitability is that with the passing of time, we will hear and read about more and more of the loss of those who matter to us. I am still gutted by Bowie's death. Despite the fact that a beloved Great-grandmother passed away at 104 still doesn't make it easier - only a reminder of our own mortality and the need to make every single day count as best we can.

Goodbye Paul Kantner. Rest in Peace.
