I've been eyeing these up for a while. They come in random colours apparently (at least from boomkat), so you son't know what colour you're going to get! Brian Eno bought loads of them after just reading about them!
edit: oh just seen that was a link to boomkat. If you look at the top right hand corner of that page, or just type in 'sublime frequencies' loads of obscure folk songs and field recordings from across the world come up. Commie Funk of North Koreia, Iraqi choubi music, Bali, folk songs of Nepal - these are all truelly exceptional recordings. I was going to start a thread on them but thought it would get ignored, but now you've bought it up......
also National Geographic have two documentaries with a cd out last week (Africa and India) in a similar vain. Haven't got the Africa yet but India one is

I've got seven so far. Favourite ones are the Iraqi one, the nepal one is beautiful, and north korea just scary. Also there is one of the mating ceremonies of dragonflies, where they get so 'worked up' they explode. Fascinating stuff, check out those national geographic things if you havn't already u_nderscore, abit pricey but you get alot for it!

I got one of these a few weeks ago and I love it! The day I got it I let it run for a few hours at work and it really chilled me out. Too bad it annoyed the hell out of one of my coworkers. Anyway, yeah ... cool little device. Mine came in blue.

I see Boomkat have got a huge article on the Buddha Machine now; over here. It says they're doing the music for the 2008 Olympics. How cool will that be?!

I got one today.

I'm gonna set it by my bed tonight and drift off into a long, blissful sleep.

Beautiful sounds. I'd love to hear a few together at the same time.
