I dunno...some other bands website...

Post by will this do? »

Is anyone here active on any other 'fan forum' or whatever? What other bands' websites are there?

And more to the point, does any one else fancy a bit of "geurilla action"? Maybe we could go and take over the Darkness website (if there is such a thing?) or something? Is anywhere else ripe for such action?

See you on the other side...

Great idea. I propose a band whose fans get more riled up than any other. A band whose fans genuinely believe their heroes are the final word in rock, and that no one else understands the music as its too deep and constantly argue about who was into them first, but keep on believing that they don't take themselves too seriously.

So, what's the address for the Manic Street Preachers web site then?

ya know orbitial, why you guys ever exported useless to the states is unbelievable. she was selling out 2,000+ venues. corporate america and watchers of the equally shit TV show ally mcbeal idolized her. aacckk, i can't stand her, take her back and shove her down a hole.

Bruised as I am from the great Will Carruthers incursion of 2003, I could never argue with a good stab at Radiohead.

Or even Will Carruthers for that matter.

Well, I think we were just too few to make any kind of splash there (with the honourable exception of acheiving the summary deletion of the goat slaughter thread, and a little rise in the level of "Busted" conciousness...well done gentlemen).

Suggestions of where to go for next Friday's field trip (I went to Manics, and it's shit...frames, and lame discussion topics)...

How about an evangelist website?

We could discuss the merits of, "Walking with Jesus","Cop Shoot Cop" and "Lord Let it Rain On Me".

I had access to the Latter Day Saints website until I suggest Jesus may have been gay.

Back when Usenet was the thing I once posted a message in the Metallica group (or was it just metal in general?) inquiring as to whether anyone else thought Master of Puppets was about autofellatio. Flame city.

If anyone wants to try this on the Metallica MB, it might be something enjoyable.

Has anyone heard this... The Download Festival at Donington Park on June 5 / 6 features our friends Metallica, Slipknot, Korn, Machine Head, Linkin Park, The Distillers, The Hives :D and... IGGY & THE STOOGES

Now.. is it worth £90 and all that preceding shit (Hives excluded) to see The Stooges?

Given that lineup i'd rather have my tooth pulled. Ugly metal, clown metal, rap metal yucch! There is a DVD coming out in March that has the hometown Stooges show. Much cheaper and a whole lot more enjoyable i'm sure.

eeewww...War...well, my considered opinion is that they were all horrible...but interesting...especially the ones with massive civilian death.
