Well Orbi and Baz's suggestions sound quite painful...but SM Rich's filthy ass-poking stab in the dark sounded cruel and unusual

If you're after a very good P or J-bass bridge replacement, BadAss is the place to go, plus they can make them to also fit EB MM/OLP-style basses.

I think they're now becoming standard in F(US) Custom Shop models, and possibly beyond!
