forthcoming releases for '04?

Post by TheWarmth »

Just curious what everyone is looking forward to for the rest of the year. So far there haven't been too many great things out, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Here's my list of things to look out for:

Soundtrack of Our Lives ~ Karmageddon ~ September 21st
The Delgados ~ Universal Audio ~ Sept. 28th
Luna ~ Rendezvous ~ September
Doves ~ September
Elliott Smith ~ From A Basement On The Hill ~ Oct. 19th
Boards of Canada ~ ?

I wish there was more on there, but I can't think of anything.

Was a bi dissapointed with the last Delgados record to be honest. Always liked Doves. I sa them once and delgados supported. Another time the supprt act was SOOL. They were excellent live. They place was goin punk when they were on. Just missed a play of the new delgados number on Radio the other night. Caught the last seconds and I have top say it sounded a bit cheery. Not the ususal saccharin offering
Work is the scourge of the drinking classes

Can't wait for the next BoC album. Going to see Christ (former member of BoC and a bloody good musicmaker in his own right) in two weeks.

Right on, Roger Plywood! I'm a huge SFA fan ... I probably won't buy the greatest hits because I already have all of those tracks, but the live MDGAF single should be excellent and I'm looking forward to the videos dvd, too.

If anyone's interested I saw Brave Captain last week. That's Martin Carr from the Boo Radleys (Do Badlys ?) new project and his new album's well worth a listen.

christ was the 3rd member, not sure if that was his real name though.

that and hitler have sort of died out as far as surnames go.
