Thanks for the heads-up, I was wondering when this would goes out. I will maybe order it, even though I'm 10000km from home at the moment...
Too bad it seems it's incomplete (missing Revolution reprise at the end).

When i ordered from the same seller Sinner DC's Sonic Boom remixes vinyl, it did not arrive at the first attempt. Though seller was friendly and did not avoid communication and send it again. Sended some bonus stuff then also. Well, never minding this i also surely will order this release!

I just ordered it as well, even though I won't be in a position to give this a spin anytime soon (damn!). Well I needed it anyway. :D

I assume the source used for this release comes from the soundboard as some people from the venue confirmed that they taped the show from the board (if I remember correctly) in this book. By the way there are some nice pics from the show in this book, I hope to see some more in the vinyl release.

Got my copy yesterday, have not had the time to listen yet. Looks shiny and lovely :D Theres a picture on the back (darkish closeup of Jason) and some liner notes by Sonic. No additional photos.

Oh, and by the way, I seem to recall that quite a few of the tracks on "Live in 1989"/"Spacemen Are Go!" were taken from this night? Will be interesting to try to hear whether it's from the same source :)

Any one (else?) in the UK received their copy yet?

Min arrived. I've only given the A-side a brief listen but was quite impressed. It seems like the people who issued this got a very good transfer of a 25 year old cassette and took care to press it properly. The artwork is outstanding for what is, after all, a bootleg. I must play the entire gig to compare.

Any idea/info on which tracks on Spacemen Are Go are from this gig? Be interested to know, its still a decent chunk of cash for a bootleg I might already have a fair bit of,

I'm well pleased with this. Excellent sound, a great sleeve and lovely liner notes from Sonic. The last sentence in particular is pure genius!

Message them. I got in touch when i thought mine was overdue and they kept me informed and told me to let them know if it didn't arrive by the end of that week. The were sympathetic and responsive to my communications.

Arrived this morning! Packaging isn't as great as what I was thinking, but still looks good. Little quiet, but a great recording.

Just listened once, and I haven't played Spacemen Are Go for quite some time, but it is definitely the same version of Starship. Since it fades out (instead of being segued into Revolution) on this release, I conclude that the version of Revolution included here must be the second version and not the first?

A quick comparison of running times on Discogs reveals that Rollercoaster and Things'll Never Be The Same could possibly be the same, but otherwise there should be no duplicates. I'd have to relisten to Spacemen Are Go to check whether any of those are the same though...

I am puzzled. Yesterday the ltd ed LP was splattered vinyl with foil cover. Today I just see red vinyl. Hmmpff. Will have to see what turns up i guess.

For once I didn't overthink it and jumped on the splatter vinyl option.

We'll see what shows.

Thanks for the heads-up!

Mine turned up today. This is a foil cover? Calling red vinyl with a few black swirls splattered is a stretch. I am curious if there is an actual splatter vinyl version of this.

Ditto. Mine came today.

White paper/cardboard sleeve, NOT foil.
Same red vinyl with a little bit of black, NOT splattered.

Not exactly happy with misrepresented merchandise.

Maybe I should consider myself lucky that I got one white pellet mixed in with my vinyl. Is this the European press or did they do an additional press for the US?

At least it's a good show and fairly good quality sound.

I emailed Light In The Attic about this. I was emailed that is the limited pressing and it is sold out. Consider yourself lucky you got one. If it is anything like what these ebay dickeheads did with the Moon Duo colored Lp it has already paid for itself.

A belated Thanks for your reply. I was pretty sure they would not include such a code anyway.
Another quick question, as per the setlist I assume the missing Revolution is the first one played that night? Is somebody able to confirm?
Thanks a lot!

yes, juding from the fact that "Starship" is the same version as on LIE1989/SAG! and that it does not segue into "Revolution", the included "Revolution" has to be the second performance of that song. I have not cross-checked this with my original tape copy of this gig yet though :)

Pics from the show are available there:

http://picturesafterdark.com/spacemen-3/

I already knew that a few pics from this show exists (some being visible on the record cover and a book celebrating gig promoter PTR 30th birthday) but I was quite happy to find a "full set" with such nice quality.
Great to see how well this show is documented. :)
