Review in The Wire

It's fairly unlikely you'd have made it here without ever having heard of Jason's previous incarnation. So here you go, talk away...

Review in The Wire

I've seen there is a review of the Spacemen book in the newest issue of The Wire (cover has MF Doom) but I can't get my hands on a copy. Does anyone have the issue, and if so, what does it say? Oh, and was it written by Stubbs, Pouncey, or Reynolds?

it's written by David Keenan.

i guess the best of the review is: "So we get weedy exegesis on quaint critical touchstones like AR Kane in place of sourcing "Big City" in The Missing Scientists' "Big City, Bright Lights" and hilariously ill-informed pronouncements on "the strange netherworlds of Eistürzende Neubauten and The Weeding Present", which has to be the first time those two groups have ever been conceptually linked".

There's a review of the book in the new issue of Magnet, too. It has Sleater-Kinney on the cover.
