Spectrum Live Footage 92-95

It's fairly unlikely you'd have made it here without ever having heard of Jason's previous incarnation. So here you go, talk away...

Spectrum Live Footage 92-95

Post by sunray »

Multiple Spectrum gigs from 1992/95 have been uploaded to Youtube by some dude called Pete Sounds.

I understand that he has a variety of Spiritualized clips from 1995 that are forthcoming too.

There are plenty of other gigs from the 90s also, quite a few of which would appeal to folks here (Bardo Pond, Windy & Carl, Monster Magnet, Mercury Rev...).

Excellent find Sunray, I've just subscribed. According to the comments he's got a few 95 Spz shows and will post each of them on their 25th anniversary

He's also uploaded a Spiritualized soundcheck which was great to watch in a geeky way!

Will have to watch the Mercury Rev one as I know many here have raved about their shows from that era

I watched the Spiritualized show last night. I never thought to look up his list. I was at the Monster Magnet show at the Bank in NYC. It was during New Music Seminar. Time to re-live this.
Thanks

I believe Pete Sounds is the guy who puts out the Drug Music Webcast/Sounds of Tomorrow web radio show as Dr. No One that I've listened to for the past 15 some years. Looks like it's hosted over on Mixcloud now under Sounds of Tomorrow. His show turned me onto a lot of great stuff
