Torrent: Spectrum 22 Sept 2007

It's fairly unlikely you'd have made it here without ever having heard of Jason's previous incarnation. So here you go, talk away...

Torrent: Spectrum 22 Sept 2007

Post by Jebus Sabes »

Now seeding at dimeadozen - all aboard, all aboard....

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-deta ... ?id=164961

Spectrum
September 22, 2007
Wall of Sound Festival
LaGrave Field
Fort Worth, Texas

mics on 8' stand, maybe 10' from stage.

Lineage: SP-CMC4 > SP-SPSB-1 w/bass roll-off > JB3 > PC > CoolEdit (amplification & track splits) > FLAC

01. mary
02. looking glass
03. walking falling
04. let me down gently
05. heaven
06. The End

Notes: Fabulous sound quality. Tiny bit of sound from the other stages at the festival bleed into this at the quietest parts. Other than 'The End' not sure about the song titles. Until a proper setlist is determined use these descriptive titles as a guide.

Pete on vocals & electronics. He was helped by another guy playing a couple keyboards... also guitar for part of one song. Did not get his name.

Upped by rudicollins

I appreciate this is a long shot being somewhat late in the day, but if anyone has a copy of this gig, (or one with a similar set) if they are able to upload it that would be much appreciated. I am trying to get a full recording of one of these 2007/ 08 solo sonic shows but proving difficult. Lots of tracks on youtube, but really want the full set...

Still amazes me how different the solo shows and the band shows are. Its like Sonic uses the solo sets to bring out the chilled ethereal side of the spacemen's sound (the PWF/ quiet side of the Transparent Radiation EP sort of stuff...) and just saves the full band for the full bore reeeeeevolution/ suicide stuff....Not quite sure why, am sure the full band could easily do some chilled out stuff to great effect too... am hoping once the new album is out, the set will expand a bit from the greatest hits.....

cheers

Mat

EDIT:

Uploaded in 3 parts, FLAC format, in zip archives.
Each contains the same text file and .MD5 hash, plus 2 different songs (there are 6 in all).
