It's fairly unlikely you'd have made it here without ever having heard of Jason's previous incarnation. So here you go, talk away...

Loops

I don't know if this was mentioned at the time, but there was a feature about Spacemen 3 in the first issue of Loops - it can be read here: http://www.loopsjournal.com/article.php?id=1&aid=1

The best drugs make the best sounds sound even better, like replacing your old worn-out ears with new, state-of-the-art surround-sound speakers for a few sacred hours.
I couldn´t disagree more.. the only music that gets better is that which wasn´t very good to begin with.
On acid I hate Bowie and Dylan and Beatles but love Goa trance and house  Pink floyd is just annoying and Iggy´s living on the edge of the night is the best song ever written..

I´d say purple rain, who´s next and instrumental dub from the seventies as well as some Sabbath albums are the only things that are equally good on and off acid.

(haschish and weed doesn´t count as drugs of course - just herbal therapy.)

..but then again having spent more than half my life not exactly stoned but with residues still in the system, I might be used to the "surround-sound speakers"?

Thanks for sharing. Gave me some amusement. ^^
W: What are we supposed to do with that?
M: Eat it.
W: Eat it? Fucker’s alive.
M: Yeah, you’ve got to kill it.
W: Me? I’m the firelighter and fuel collector.
