Natty Booker Exhibition July 15th - Hoxton bar and Grill

It's fairly unlikely you'd have made it here without ever having heard of Jason's previous incarnation. So here you go, talk away...

Or ex-Spiritualized. ^^
Isn't that the same thing in this context? The first Spz line up was the whole of Spacemen 3 minus PK.

Hi all, apologies if the following question's been asked before....

The Lazer Guided Melodies cover art. Is that a Natty original? If so, does anyone know if Natty will be selling prints? I'd love to hang a copy in my house.

A quick scoot round the web only found this, which I'm not feeling the love for so much.

As always, any help is greatly appreciated!

Peace and love

This is where you can buy his prints:-

The Anyway You Want Me one seems to be the closest to what you're after as there doesn't seem to be a LGM one up on the site though I'm sure that is his cover art.

I might be wrong but I thought that the figures on the LGM cover are actually models that were made based on Natty's 'Anyway' artwork. The cover notes from LGM read:

Original Artwork: Mr Ugly
.......
Model Maker: Gavin Lindsay

Unless the model is the 'dead bird in a bin' on the back cover?

They were models. I saw them in Dedicated Records office in Notting Hill Gate. They were right in the reception area on what looked like heavy black blocks.
Oh how I wish i knew where they wound up.

Hi all,

I got a reply from my new friend Mark. Here it is:

Hi Rob,

the cover for the Lazer Guided Melodies album is owned by Jason from Spiritualized so won't be part of the collection. The cover for Anyway That You Want Me, featuring the 2 same characters is still owned by Natty & is therefore available.

Best wishes,
Mark.

Spzretent - I've emailed back to ask if Mark knows anything about the models you mentioned. I'll let you know what I get back!

Peace and love
