I have yet to see it but we plan to! It is getting great reviews over here too and several Portland shows have been sold out.

it's well worth it- usually when the oscars come around and films are nominated or hyped to be 'the winner of everything etc' it's not always any good but last year (black sawn) and this year's (artist) seem to be deserving, imo

There have been some decent Oscar noms/winners recently. I thought 'King's Speech', 'Slumdog Millionaire', 'True Grit', 'The Fighter' & 'The Hurt Locker' were also all brilliant cinema.

Bank holiday here today and we are taking the kids to see it later this afternoon. It was either 'The Artist' or 'Hugo'. Although we want to see the latter too we swayed the kids on 'The Artist'. I think it demands to be seen on the big screen.

Will report back later.

Very good, indeed! The sound of breathing has never been more poignant or better emphasized in film!
