I ordered my tickets through an online retailer (Way Ahead tickets) and recieved an email this morning:
We are writing to inform you that the venue for SPIRITUALIZED
on 19/01/2004 has changed from Barrowlands, Glasgow
to Glasgow Garage, Glasgow
The tickets will remain valid for the new venue.

It's a pretty good venue, a great atmosphere if it's packed (for those that were at the Liquid Rooms gig last September, it's a slightly larger size), and decent acoustics.
The bar is down a side corridor from the front of the stage though, so you can't actually see the stage while you're getting a drink.

gutted man!
the bastards haven't sent me an email yet!!!
i saw sigur ros and godspeed at the garage, it's ok, but it's not in the same league as the barrowlands. i'm sure the last 2 shows spz played there sold out.

Its shite how the scottish gigs seem to fall on rubbish nights like monday, wednesday etc. Work next day limits the fun that can be had somewhat
