John Colpitts (aka Kid Millions) is a Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, composer and writer who is perhaps best known as the drummer for Oneida. Man Forever, his vehicle for exploring the outer limits of drum performance, was created to overwhelm, to investigate the nuances that bloom in the midst of repetitive music, and to act as a pure sound experience. Having recently been enlisted to play drums for Spiritualized, John is tonight joined by J Spaceman and Pat Thomas for a very special one off performance.

Re: Cafe Oto - Sept 23
I went. It was my birthday.
It was really lovely. I think J. had a few problems in the beginning with the Starstreamer but as it went along it became nice and dirty and really free. Kid Millions played for over an hour at a furious rate, the keyboardist (Pat Thomas) was incredible.
I hope J. and others keep on doing gigs like this.
Was great to catch up with a few board members.
Cafe Oto is a great little venue with good booze and sound.

Re: Cafe Oto - Sept 23
Pat Thomas was incredible. I was lucky (for him ) to be sitting almost on his lap as its a smallish venue. Being able to watch a musician like that close up was amazing. He wasn't really playing the keys more coaxing sound out of them. Great big slabs of sound. Kid Millions was on fire. The more I see that guy play the more respect I have for him. To play at that ferocity for an hour without a break is mind blowing. Jason was good but I think maybe struggled to really plug in to what Kid Millions and Pat were working up between them. A damn good night though, always nice to see fellow forumites and also to welcome our very own Modlab to London town.
