Sons Of Anarchy

Post by Aquarian-Time »

I'm unsure where I stand on this, just stumbled upon it earlier in the week and have watched 4 episodes from season 1, at times I love it, then there are some really lame story/plot lines but then the soundtrack is pretty cool and I'm on board again.
Its gritty, in your face and slightly comedic. But the story lines are a bit rushed and the pace seems a bit too fast for my liking.
Welcome anyones comments as generally I have enjoyed the vast majority of stuff reccomended on this here forum

Watched the entire show earlier this year and was absolutely hooked. There are some lighter moments in there but it get very dark very quickly. Even when the story lines get pretty grim, there is still a light-heartedness in places that help stop if from getting too OTT. I found all the seasons pretty well paced apart from the second last one (which i often find with shows) which i found was a little hard to get through, but it was so very much worth it in the end.

Stick with it... you'll soon reap(er) the rewards!

halfway through season 2, I think all hell may break loose soon..

Its very addictive, if at times a bit throwaway, Enjoying it though

All hell breaking loose pretty much covers the story arc, I think the writer described it as pulp fiction, a hi-octane soap opera, its a pretty addictive watch for sure.

I loved this show. It's the bleak humour that elevates it for me.

Tig gets most of the best lines, but his tale is more tragic than most...

The clubhouse parties looked pretty awesome though!

I think Tig was my favourite character (he was the Quagmire of the show... his lines cracked me up but he went through a lot of dark shit too) although i think i pretty much ended up with emotional ties to all the main members of the gang.
