taking drugs... cd and vinyl are different...?

It's fairly unlikely you'd have made it here without ever having heard of Jason's previous incarnation. So here you go, talk away...

taking drugs... cd and vinyl are different...?

Post by amirfreelance »

I got the record and the spaceage cd of taking drugs, but noticed that the songs on the cd are a semi-tone lower than on the record, sounds kinda different. Just wondering if this is the case with the bomp issue of taking drugs as well? thx /\/\

That could be the record player, mine has a similar effect on most of the LPs I play on it.

i dont think thats the case because i have several records that i also have on cd and this is the only time it happens so im assuming it aint the record player...

plus... the same versions of those songs on the taang 'sound of confusion' cd are in the same key as the taking drugs record/lp...so that rules out the idea that it might actually be the record which is in a higher key.
