I got a google alert saying Spiritualized were releasing vinyl reissues for their first four albums. It was on Louder. As soon as I got the email the link was dead.

 Would love to think they'd do a fancy boxset with some extra material and a book, but that's extremely unlikely.

Wasn't there talk of L&G getting a general issue after the VMP one? I'm sure someone posted something to that effect, or maybe i imagined it.

Just seen this on FaceBook:

All my early Spiritualized vinyl is a bit worn at this stage so I'm very pleased about this news. Hopefully the pressings will match the quality of the recent Vinyl Me Please re-issue of Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space.

I'm gonna commit the crime of quoting myself here from a recent thread... :) what shall I wish for next?

just imagine a brilliantly remastered version of Lazer Guided Melodies.
the Lazer Guided merch is pretty cool too isn't it.

guess this is a good way to keep busy during lockdown
they better get the pressing and mastering right.. if there were ever albums which really hinged on how they sound it's these..

LGM reissue and related merch is now available for pre-order on spiritualized.com Just dropped $100 bucks there on the white vinyl, 2 shirts, and the mug. Shipping nailed me for $32 but hey, it's LGM!
I think I feel it coming on

Was looking for the link to this forum the other day and it seems to have vanished and is no longer on the masthead of the updated official Spiritualized web page, strange,

I sent the management company an email asking if the omission was intentional or not. Will report back when I hear from them.

Does Jason get a new manager every new release cycle?

It was news to me. I contacted his previous management team to see if the forum link missing was an oversight and they immediately introduced me to the new management.
Truth be told whomever is responsible for this remaster series and merch is doing an amazing job.
Every one of Jason's management teams have always been cool with us.
For a long time this forum was the only web presence for Spiritualized and it was paid for by the fans.
That counts for something.
