Going to Austin show - if I can remember I will post the setlist. Can’t wait…planning on seeing multiple shows (TN, DC and PA).

Not playing the album from start to finish then. I actually wouldn't have minded that this time around but it's probably better to mix it throughout the set. Pretty good overall even if it tails off towards the end imo.

Odd choice having She Kissed Me (It Felt Like a Hit) and Electricity right after each other IMO as they both sound very similar.

I wonder what songs 14 and 16 were? And does anybody know what the lineup was?

Electricity->Shine A Light, nice combo!

Anyway, isn't it just a wonderful relief that they're back on the road? Roll on Brighton!

Yes Electricity > Shine A Light looks like a definite highlight.

I've seen them play Electricity and Shine a Light so many times at this point, I'd much rather hear the newer material. By the time Pitchfork rolls around they should be very tight.

Not that thrilled with the setlist, highlight was Shine A Light. I am skipping the Austin show, I am too old to stand for 2 plus hours these days. Plus the hoops to jump through for entry do not sit right with me, I had to sneak in the side door to get in last night.

Its totally their prerogative to play newer material from the past few years. That said, process of elimination says to me that the mystery songs are likely to be older ones i would say.
I'd have little complaint with that set i reckon.

Heading For The Top 8)
Lay It Down Slow :? Less so but just great to see them back

"Lay It Down Slow" is an odd choice, IMO. I don't mind the slower ballads, but this one is just boring.

I suspect the unknown songs are Crazy and Let It Bleed which would then mean the whole album had been played throughout the set. Although it does seem odd that the other five tracks would be known and not those two. Probably oldies after all!

Heading For The Top Now is a great one to bring back :D

Do you know what the two unknown songs were? Sorry you won’t be there tonight! I’m surprised he didn’t do a hymn.

I’ll be there as well. Feel free to say hello if you see me. I’ll be in a Lazer Guided Melodies shirt or LGWFIS sweatshirt - blonde with a hat. I’m hoping it’ll be a pretty intimate show.

Looks like an amazing set list as far as I'm concerned. Hope they play similar in Nottingham.

Heard the older material countless times in the past looking forward to hearing the newer (SHSL onwards) material live n loud

That is an amazing setlist, as far as I’m concerned.

You’re gonna need to have one or two chilled Spiritualized songs at any gig really (IMO), but looking at that inaugural set list for the year tour it’s mostly full of the heavier, psychedelic songs. Including the tracks nobody has really heard yet properly. (23 days and counting?)

Bring it on, I say. I have to say the addition of ‘Heading for the Top’ and ‘Hey Jane’ cheered me up big time.

As far as ballads go ‘Lay it down slow’ is a lovely track, not played for a long time I think, and near the end of a noise-heavy list that would be alright.

I say that as well seeing that there’s none of the heavy ‘war horse’/‘heavy medication’ material you expect:

Come Together, Take Me to the Other Side, I think I’m in Love, Take your time…. Walking with Jesus?!

Dallas setlist updated. It appears that the unknown songs are Let It Bleed and Damaged.

I reckon that's the best setlist he's had in years. Nice and rocked-out for the most part. Ending is a bit of a comedown though. I'd like to be battered into submission with noise and strobes and then chucked out of the venue tbh.

That’s the kind of shit I want to read here after a slightly challenging week.

I would LOVE to hear Lay it Down Slow...but it wasn't played. That setlist was all kinds of wrong, I made the corrections after finding the setlist online, here's what was really played.

I thought a 20 song set sounded a bit long!
I wish Lets Dance was actually in there, aside from the songs already there it would be one of my top choices from ANH. That and On The Sunshine.
The band lineup looks to be pretty much the same from what i can tell.

Eh, not so much, there isn't the massive video screen that was used in the past tours. One thing no one has noted is on the Mainline song Doggen plays melodica across his lap, sitting down with a tube in his mouth like a guitar talk box. And I think there is an extra guitar player this time out.

As much as i like Sail On Through it's a bit of a downer ending to a gig. I know So Long is the encore but that's quite an anthemic, poppy thing. No real wigout as such at the end.

I really like Sail On Through as a song, so no complaints from me there. I know what you mean though, as long as I can remember there was always the guarantee of a wigout at the end, no matter what song it was attached to. Even if parts of the gig itself were lacklustre, there was always that release at the end.
