loads of covers of Spacemen 3 songs

It's fairly unlikely you'd have made it here without ever having heard of Jason's previous incarnation. So here you go, talk away...

I think the two versions of WWJ, including the one from Peru, prove that it is one of the best songs ever written.
Just so difficult to go wrong with it.

That's a new one, just been posted. Playing it at work now and getting some odd looks, which can only confirm how good it is. Sounds more like Dreamweapon, actually.

that's a credit to the forum mods/nightwash. this thread is still alive 8yrs on but the website in the OP isn't. doff my cap to them.

which raises another off topic point - how long has it been since there's been an official website for that matter..?? guess that ship has sailed..

I downloaded most of these years ago and probably still have them on an old hard disk somewhere. If memory serves there was a great TMTTOS too.

Purling Hiss cover Walkin' With Jesus on their latest digital single.
Think it's up on Spotify, Deezer etc. I nabbed my version in the blogosphere.

Clearly a cover of the Spacemen 3 original rather than the Spiritualized remake.

If they're out and about i expect mine next week :D Think i was too late for the extras though.

@Ian, that's very nice, and arguably better than the Spiritualized version.

Mine arrived last Friday and sounds magic! Fuxa inclusion nice too. Got my lovely hand-stitched Sp3 tote bag (the free gift). These appear to be hand done as they few i've seen are very different. Nice personal touch, but wouldn't expect anything less from Vinita @ Rocketgirl 8)

I've had a bit of a rummage through the forums and can't find a mention of the Jugando con Fuego album of Kember/Pierce covers.

It's 16 covers by Latin American bands and it's free on Bandcamp. https://pleromadiscos.bandcamp.com/albu ... fuego-2013
