Members of THE RAVEONETTES, THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE, SPACEMEN 3, DEAD MEADOW and CALLA are planning a massive onstage jam at NEW YORK's BOWERY BALLROOM this weekend (June 12) to rival the legendary scene at the end of THE BAND's classic concert film 'THE LAST WALTZ'.

The not-to-be-missed spectacle will be part of the seventh anniversary celebrations of Manhattan club night Shout!, which specialises in hosting small, secret shows by big bands. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Thrills, The Sleepy Jackson, Jet, The Secret Machines and The Warlocks are just a few of the bands who have rocked the dancefloor at Bar 13 in Greenwich Village since 1997.

The celebrations take place at the Bowery Ballroom on Saturday (June 12) and continue the following night (June 13) at Bar 13, with DJs and surprise special guests, rumoured to be the MC5.
