It's the Abbey Road EP with some live tracks recorded at the Pink Pop Festival (in Sweden I think) as bonus tracks. Great version of Electric Mainline stands out but the whole thing is one of the best live recordings I've heard by Spiritualized.

A bit of a rarity then. I don't think I've ever seen a copy :(
It's nice to be liked,
But it's better by far to get paid.

I didn't realise it was that rare...pretty sure I picked it up on eBay for around £5 a few years ago - I remember as my copy has a price tag on it that says '15.95' but no indication of currency.

Right now I don't have enough disc space to make flac conversions of the extra 4 tracks, zip/rar them, and then upload via Megaupload or similar...and given it's a commercial release is that considered fair?

Before anyone asks I don't fancy compressing to mp3, just to find some cloth-eared cunt upconverts to CD and starts sharing it.

However as it looks like the 4 extra live tracks were part of a radio broadcast anyway, so it seems a bit mean not to share, especially if it's pretty rare.

I'd be interested to know why they weren't included on the regular release, though would 7 songs on one disc made it ineligible to chart in the UK?

Also I've never thought much of the title - The Abbey Road EP sounds like something more substantial than 2.5 tracks - I was expecting a mini-masterpiece like Magical Mystery Tour, although the artwork is amongst my favourite.
I'm like Evel Knievel, I get paid for the attempt. I didn't promise this shit would be good!

Would the live tracks be from the same gig as that "Tripping In Sweden" bootleg cd?

I've just realised I've got a sound board recording of this Pinkpop festival somewhere according to a list I made up and then subsequently lost when I moved and which I have now found whilst rooting round in my boxes of unpacked things! I'll dig around for the recording...

I don't recall seeing this before. Only 10 minutes. Still, better than nothing!

yep nice find for sure!
the graphics and editing seems so 90s! :)

Home of The Brave is one I'd be happy to see back in the set. Although I guess at this point I'd settle for any Spiritualized gig whatsover!
