Mark Peters - Silent Night.

Post by clewsr »

This is quite nice. - I've also purchased his Innerland album on casette (how deliciously retro), but not listened to it yet!

Mark Peters has released a beautiful Spiritualized-meets-Beach Boys cover version of the classic Christmas carol ‘Silent Night’.

All proceeds from sales of the song will go to the homeless charity, Crisis.

*** Buy ‘Silent Night’ ***

Mark’s debut solo release ‘Innerland’ is available now on limited-edition cassette (only a handful of copies left) and download.

“Impossibly beautiful, evoking a bird’s-eye view of its own landscape, one untarnished by the blots and the palettes and the Tescos of the real world...”

The mini album is quite superb, very warm, hazy psych. Great on headphones

This is being released on Sonic Cathedral in April on Vinyl, and I just so happen to be hosting this fine chap at The Salty Dog in Northwich on Saturday April 28th. Whats even better is the gig is FREE.

If anyone wants to travel to this and needs digs, my place is 5 mins up the road.
