I re-joined for 1 month(now an option) just to get this LP.
Looks like another tasty VMP release.

That is a stone cold classic to be fair.

I remember reading about this album - I think on an early Radiohead messageboard - and ordered the original release CD direct from Iceland, before it came out in the UK. Then invited my best mate and his girlfriend over for a listening party. They just couldn't believe their ears!!

One of my favourite gigs ever was seeing them at the Union Chapel, when they supported themselves by playing a stripped down opening set then the full works with the Aniima girls alongside them.

Happy days...

I had tickets to see them in Detroit a few days after 9-11. Almost every band cancelled their tours over here. I didn't even think about that show until someone asked me what I thought of it. I had no idea they were playing. I have only ever seen Jonsi solo.
This record though. It is spectacular. I have an older RSD reissue of this album which is good but I am betting VMP will significantly improve it.
I do have the Heima DVD box set. I also love that. It is one of my favorite band DVD's. Very much a love letter to Iceland. Stunning.
