I couldn't find the thread but someone had posted and mentioned an autobiography by Stuart Braithwaite ( founder ) of Mogwai. I'm halfway thru this novel and it is a good read. His earlier influences in music he noted the Cure, Jesus and Mary Chain, Iggy Pop and several mentions of Spacemen 3. Got my local library to get this and hasn't disappointed yet. If the rest of the book is good, I'll purchase it for my collection ...

Its a great read. I'm almost finished it but its been fun. Growing up only a few miles from where Stuart did, and having frequented much of the same places and attending a lot of the same gigs, this book has been a trip for me.

As for Stuart's book, i waited for the paperback edition which i have on preorder. Don't think it'll be arriving until September though.
